Duke of Edinburgh Volunteer Programme

Become a Parktennis Volunteer and complete either the skills or volunteering section of your Duke of Edinburgh Award

β€œI am a 15 year old secondary school student and I became a volunteer for Parktennis as part of my bronze Duke of Edinburgh award volunteering element. I really enjoy being part of this community scheme which is free of charge and open to all ages. It brings people together every week to have fun, improve their tennis skills and it motivates everyone to keep fit and healthy whilst taking part in something they really enjoy. Parktennis encourages people of all tennis abilities to get involved and we play singles, doubles and a variety of team games, even some to music. It entertains the younger members with lots of games and exciting tennis based activities. I would thoroughly recommend becoming a member of Parktennis and being a volunteer to help with the organisation and running of the scheme. It is very rewarding and is always lots of fun!”
